Witness Support
Once the trial is over, you may still feel that you would like further support or explanation about the case, whether from those people you had been dealing with directly throughout the process, or from other support agencies. Victim Information - Release and Supervision of Offenders
If you are the victim in a case, and are interested in knowing when the offender is due to be released from prison, or if they have been given a supervised sentence the terms they are bound by, you can be kept informed about this through victim information schemes developed and managed by the Northern Ireland Prison Service and The Probation Board for Northern Ireland. Compensation
If you witnessed a violent crime, you may qualify for compensation under the Northern Ireland Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme 2002.
